THE SANDS OF ALANG: The latest DVD about shipbreaking in Alang, India
Two more 47,800 gt, 930-passenger ships will be built by Fincantieri for Viking Cruises according to a press release issued today from the Italian shipyard. These are in addition to the critically acclaimed 2015-built VIKING STAR and the scheduled-for-2016-and-2017 VIKING SEA and VIKING SKY, plus a fourth vessel that has been optioned.

Fincantieri will render the exterior design and construction of each vessel while the interior design will be handled by Los Angeles-based Rottet Studio and London-based SMC Design.
