The white marble decking of the Apollon Deck atrium leads aft via Ulysses Walk, a serpentine lobby of shops and public rooms. In the arcade portion, there is a souvenir boutique, photo shop, and sundries store.

The port side of Ulysses Walk continues with the 14 seat Athena Library, which contains an assortment of reading materials and videos. Much as with the AMK-designed CROWN ODYSSEY, ROYAL MAJESTY, and MERIDIAN (former GALILEO), the inboard bulkhead is of glass, looking out onto the passageway.

The 24 seat Assos Card Room continues aft of the Library and contains several tables for various card and board games. As with the Library, it can be used as a meeting room.

The starboard section of midships Apollon Deck continues with the forward portion of the L-shaped 100 seat Sirenes Piano Bar. Its warm wood tones are are offset by plush turquoise carpeting and striated marble surfacing.

The aft portion of the Sirenes Bar forms a nice lounge area, which tends to be one of the ship's key gathering places before and after meals in the nearby restaurants. Scale models of various ships serve as decorative highlights. In the evenings, there is often a live band accompanying the pianist.

The Garden Lounge is shown here facing forward from the port side. The pool basin is on the right side of the image, concealed in burled veneers and plexiglass panels of bubbling water. Photo and copyright Peter Knego 2001.

The Apollon Deck public rooms conclude with the clever and eye-catching 210 seat Garden Lounge. Serving as the ship's informal buffet dining room, it also has a 24 hour self-service coffee and tea counter. Built around the basin of the pool on Helios Deck, just above, AMK have met the challenge by lining it with tubes of bubbling water. The adjoining terrace and bar aft can accommodate another 110 passengers.

From the Selene Deck level, the bolt-like fixture in the Reception area is an imposing sight. Photo and copyright Peter Knego 2001.

Selene (Greek for "Moon") Deck begins with officers quarters and passenger cabins and contains two public spaces, the Reception area and the Dining Room.

On one side of the white marble Reception area there is an information desk and on the other side, a shore excursion and tour counter.

Selene Deck continues with cabins and concludes with the L-shaped 470 seat Selene Dining Room. Curved white colonnades divide the room into three separate areas, each presided over by amber crystal Murano chandelier "moons". On the starboard side a wing extends forward while a small lobby and entryway occupy the corresponding space midships. Full length windows provide delicious ocean views on three sides.

In the middle of the dining room, structural support beams are pleasingly disguised with translucent polycarbonate artwork panels by Erietta Vordoni. Venus, Dionysus, and Neptune Decks continue with various grades of accommodation. A second reception lobby is located on Dionysus Deck.
