After months of ongoing work that includes replacing cap rails, chipping old paint, patching and applying fresh new paint, the 1955-built former WAPPEN VON HAMBURG, DELOS, POLAR STAR, PACIFIC STAR, XANADU, FAITHFUL is soon to depart her berth at Rio Vista, California for San Francisco, where she will be used as a static attraction and possibly sail again as one of the world’s largest private yachts.  For more information on this surviving gem that has miraculously been rescued from the brink of no return, please go to:
