BAHAMAS CELEBRATION (ex PRINSESSE RAGNHILD) successfully underwent a maneuverability test at the Port of Palm Beach, Florida three days ago. If the port commissioners approve the contract with Celebration Cruise Lines, the Port of Palm Beach will become BAHAMAS CELEBRATION’s new home, as soon as March 1, offering two-, four- and six-day cruises to Grand Bahama Island. BAHAMAS CELEBRATION has been based at Fort Lauderdale, Florida since March 2009, sailing to The Bahamas. If the move goes ahead, she will be largest passenger ship to dock at the Port of Palm Beach. The port’s channel is narrower than that of Port Everglades. Please visit the illustrated article, BAHAMAS CELEBRATION by Michael Bennett, July 2009.
