March 16: In preparation for her new life as a waterfront attraction, work has been ongoing both aboard and to the hull and superstructure of the MV XANADU (ex WAPPEN VON HAMBURG, DELOS, etc.) at Rio Vista, CA. The 1955-built ship, sporting a new coat of white paint and soon to have her original blue pinstripe restored, will be towed to San Francisco in the very near future. Stay tuned for more details.
