    Had many good times on the Regal Empress. Did at least 5 cruises on her from New York. Sad she got scrapped. On one cruise we were docking in St John and the ship hit the dock. Left a huge hole in the bow. They did fix the ballast tank but the hole was left until we got back to N.Y. After we left the ship the dock workers were just finishing up welding a huge metal plate over the hole.

    I ran the security on the regal empress on the weekend cruises out of new York in the 90s for about ten years and a few long cruises out if port manatee.Really miss those days.
